If you are looking to create a beautiful heart particle animation in Adobe After Effects, then you are at the right place. In this tutorial, you will learn to create beautiful hearts particles moving background animation in Adobe After Effects without using any third-party plugins or expressions. After watching this tutorial, you will be able to create your own heart particles.

Let’s Get Started!

Step 1: First of all, open adobe after effects. Go to the composition, and create a new composition. Rename it to Hearts or whatever name you like. As always, I am using the same resolutions of 1920×1080 Pixels. Set the frame rate to 30 frames per second, and the duration to 10 seconds.

Step 2: Let’s import the required files. So go to the File Menu > Then import a file and select the hearts icon. You can download it for free. Now, drag and drop to the layers section, then create a new solid layer. Rename it to the hearts particles or whatever you like.

Step 3: Go to the effects & presets, search the effect “CC Particle world”. Drag it to the solid layer. Hide the image layer. If you click on Ram preview you will see the simple particles animation so We need to change these particles into our heart icon.

Step 4: Go to the CC Particle world setting. Under the particle, change the particle type to Texture square and change the texture layer to hearts.png. Increase the max opacity to 100% and change the birth and death color to white.
It will bring the original heart color.

Step 5: Change the birth rate to 3. Go to the producer, and change the Radius X value to 0.700. Also, change the radius Y value to 0.700. And change the Radius Z value to 3. It will work better but we’ve to fix the heart falling position. Go to the physics. Change the gravity to 0. Reduce the speed by changing the velocity to 0.2. Change the size variation to 75%, and change the longevity to 5.

We are done! Our Hearts Particle Background Animation in Adobe After Effects is ready.
