Let’s Get started!
Step 1: Open adobe after effects and create a new composition. Rename it to 3D Logo or whatever name you like. Set the resolution to 1920×1080 Pixels. Frame rate 30 frames per second and duration of 10 seconds.
Step 2: Create a background layer if you want. Go to Layers Menu > then New > and Select Solid. Then lock the Background layer.
Step 3: Select the type tool from the toolbar and Add Your text. Increase the font size and then align the text to the center.
Step 4: Right-click on the text layer and choose pre-compose. Rename it to 3D Logo Comp. Double click the composition and gain right-click on the Text layer and choose pre-compose. Rename it to the Logo or text.
Step 5: Select the logo composition and Enable the 3D. Go to the Effects & presets and search Effect Exposure. Drag and drop the effect on the screen. Change the Exposure value from zero to -1. Select the composition and Hit P Key on the keyboard to open position properties. Right-click the position and choose “Separate dimensions”.
Step 6: Now, Hold the Alt key on the keyboard and click the stopwatch icon to add an expression. Then in the expression window type, index. We have to make 20 to 30 copies of this layer. So, select the layer and press control+D to make it duplicate 20 times.
Step 7: Select the first layer Select the effect and delete it. Now, go back to our 3d Logo composition then select the layer and enable the Collapse Transformations option and 3d option.
Step 8: Add a Camera layer then create a Null object layer. Make the camera layer parent to the null layer also don’t forget to enable the 3D for the Null layer. Then Press R to open rotation properties and change the Y rotation. Add keyframes after 2 seconds on different rotation values and change the X rotation.
Step 9: Select all keyframes, right-click and go to keyframe assistant and choose easy ease.
We are done! Our 3D animation in Adobe After Effects, without using any plugin.
