How to Make Rain Text Effect in Photoshop
In this tutorial, we are going to see how I created the rain text effect in photoshop. This tutorial is so easy and designed for beginners. You don’t need to install any effect, as we are going to create this effect from the scratch.
Here’s the effect we’re going to create.
As you can see in the above image it looks more realistic rain text effect. After watching this tutorial you will be able to blend text on fabric easily. This is a 100% editable effect you can easily change your text. By creating this effect you need two images. 1. City image with the cloudy scene. 2. Raindrop image. I have added the project file link below. If you have any difficulty, just send me a message.
Anyway, let’s get started.
Step 1: Open the rainy window image in Photoshop. Create a new layer just above the image layer, then convert it into a smart object.
Step 2: Create a new layer just above the text layer. Conver it to a smart object, then rename it to the Image.
Step 3: Double-click the text layer, and add your text.
Step 4: Copy the city image, and paste it into the image layer.
Step 5: Select the image layer, change the blending mode from normal to overlay, and change the opacity to 55%.
Step 6: Select the text layer and change the blending mode from normal to overlay and change the opacity to 75%.
Step 7: Keep the image layer selected, go to the Filters menu, then blur and choose gaussian blur. Change the blur radius to 6 pixels.
We are done! Our Blend text on fabric in photoshop is ready, and I hope this is a helpful tutorial for beginners.
