Let’s Get Started.

Step 1: Open adobe after Effects then create a new composition. Set the resolution to 1920×1080 Pixels and frame rate to 30 frames per second. Set the duration to 5 seconds.

Step 2: Select the type tool from the toolbar and add your text. Increase the text size and then align the text to the center. Select the text layer and make it duplicate by pressing CTRL+D on Keyboard. Then Select the move tool and drag the second text. Change the text, and make it smaller. Then increase the tracking for the characters.

Step 3: We have two text layers. Just select both text layers and drag them to the center.

Step 4: Select the rectangle tool. Set the fill color to solid and stroke to None then make a rectangle to cover the first text. Drag it just below the text layer. Rename the shape layer if you want and hide the shape layer.

Step 5: We are going to create another shape with the help of a pen tool. So, Select the pen tool and set the fill color to none, and sad set the stroke to 25 pixels. Just create a line on the second text. Increase the text stroke if required.

Step 5: Now, we have two shape layers. The first shape we created with the rectangle tool, and the second shape with the pen tool. We can move the shape tool easily.

Step 6: Drag the shape layers just above the text layers. Hide both shapes layers. Select the first text and hit the P Key on the keyboard, to open position properties then add a keyframe and then drag this keyframe to the one second.

Step 7: Go back to the first frame. Change the text position. Click this toggle switches/modes button and Select the Sliding text layer. Go to track matte and Select Alpha Matte “Sliding Text Mask”. Again Select the Second text layer.
