Step-by-Step Guide to Creating a Professional Text Animation:
Step 1: Set Up Composition
- Open Adobe After Effects.
- Create a new composition named “Professional Text” with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels, a frame rate of 30 frames per second, and 20 seconds.
Step 2: Add Text
- Select the Type tool from the toolbar.
- Add your desired text to the composition.
- In the Characters panel, click “All Caps” to convert the text to uppercase.
- Align the text to the center of the composition.
Step 3: Apply Opacity Animation
- Select your text layer.
- Go to the Animation menu and choose “Animate Text.”
- Select “Opacity” and reduce the opacity to 0% to make the text invisible at the start.
Step 4: Apply Offset Animation
- Go to the Range Selector 1 settings.
- Under Advanced, change the shape type to “Ramp Up.”
- Add a keyframe to the Offset value with a value of -100%.
- After 5 seconds on the timeline, set the Offset value to 100% to reveal the text gradually.
Step 5: Apply Tracking Animation
- Select your text layer.
- Go to the Animation menu and choose “Animate Text.”
- Select “Tracking.”
- Add a keyframe on the Tracking Amount property with a value of 0.
- Add another keyframe at the last frame with a tracking amount of 5 to 10 to increase the letters’ spacing during animation.
Step 6: Apply Blur Animation
- Under the Text properties, select Animator 1.
- Add a property by selecting “Blur.”
- Increase the blur amount to 10. Adjust as desired.
Step 7: Duplicate and Modify Animator
- Duplicate Animator 1 by pressing Control D (Command D on Mac).
- Drag the duplicated Animator below Animator 1.
- Go to the Range Selector settings for the duplicated Animator.
- Select both keyframes and drag them to 10 seconds.
- Under Advanced, change the shape type to “Ramp Down.”
Step 8: Extend Tracking Animation
- Select the text layer and press U on the keyboard to reveal all keyframes.
- Drag the Tracking Amount keyframe to 15 seconds to increase the text spacing duration until the end of the composition.
Step 9: Preview and Export
Preview the animation by playing the timeline. If you’re satisfied with the result, you can export the composition to your desired format.
